Often, a potential reader judges a book as harshly on how the title looks, as they do what the title is. The font, color, spacing, size, imagery, and other factors all have a strong impact on the perceived attractiveness of cover design.
And while we claim to never judge a book by its cover, the reality is that the cover is the very first thing we do judge a book by.
